Wildlife smuggling is the fourth largest illegal occupation in the world. Various wildlife, including 10 lakh seahorses and 7 lakh birds, either alive or killed ones are smuggled in India every year. The number of Anteater caught in abduction in the last 9 years alone is 6,000.
